Through guided conversation, participants will be introduced to the many dimensions of restorative practices. These practices encompass several approaches, including the specific concept of restorative justice. The program will focus primarily on restorative justice through a moderated discussion led by Tauya Forst, J.D., M.S., and Richard Forst, J.D., Professors of Criminal and Justice Studies at the College of DuPage.

This program is designed to be an open dialogue—please come prepared to actively listen, participate, and engage with others.


You can choose to attend this program in-person or watch online on Zoom. Please indicate your preference when registering.

The Civic Awareness Series is presented in partnership with the Schaumburg Library.
