The LWVPA Book Club, facilitated by Lana Brozik, Mary Pat Fontana, and Marilyn  McCarty-Fulton meets every other month, most often on the third Tuesday, from 10:30 AM -12:00 PM followed by an optional lunch.  We are currently alternating between the Schaumburg and Barrington Libraries while our usual meeting place, the Palatine Library, is undergoing renovations.  We attempt to select both fiction and non-fiction books that address current events and issues for which the league advocates.  Please consider joining us for our thoughtful and lively discussions.

BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS: We’ve compiled a list of books that so many of you have recommended (see below link). We can’t possibly do them justice, but thought to reach out to all of you as a book list that you can utilize when you have the time and interest. If we’ve missed your recommendation, please let us and the group know, and we’ll add them to the list. (Clearly, this is a ‘work in progress’ and will only grow with time.)
