Watch the Video

Schaumburg Township District Library, Rasmussen Room

Plan to attend this non-partisan forum featuring candidates in the upcoming race for Township High School District 211 School Board and learn about the candidates’ individual positions on a variety of topics. Co-sponsored by the Schaumburg Library, the League of Women Voters of the Palatine Area and the Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated (SHAC).

You may submit questions for the candidates during the registration process. (Questions submitted after March 1 may not be considered.)

The forum will be moderated by Lisa Slankard of the League of Women Voters Arlington Heights, a neutral moderator trained by the League of Women Voters. All questions will be submitted in advance, and vetted by a non-partisan team who will ensure that the questions are fair and allow each candidate to present themselves in a positive manner.

This forum will be recorded and made available on YouTube.com/@SchaumLib, the League of Women Voters of the Palatine Area website, and the SHAC website.

People of all abilities are welcome. To request accommodations, call the Library at (847) 923-3347.
