What a year it has been! Our League has achieved fantastic success serving our communities, and while there is always more work ahead, now is the perfect moment to pause, take a breath, and celebrate together.
Join us for the 68th Annual Meeting of the League of Women Voters of Palatine, Barrington, and Schaumburg Areas. With 155 members strong, let’s fill the room with energy, pride, and purpose as we celebrate what we’ve accomplished and the impact we continue to make.

Here’s what to look forward to, all for the price of $40 per person, which covers our costs only.
- Entertainment: Back by popular demand! Join storyteller Lynn Rymarz as she shares the true story of Dottie Kamenshek, who spent ten seasons playing baseball as a Rockford Peach. Discover her childhood days growing up in Ohio with immigrant parents during the Depression and how she ended up playing with the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League when World War II broke out. Kamenshek and her teammates inspired the movie A League of Their Own.
