Join your fellow LWVPA members for an evening of food, friendship, and thought-provoking theater!
Written by Lauren Gunderson and directed by Iris Sowlat, The Revolutionists is a witty, fast-paced “her-storical” comedy that reimagines the French Revolution through the eyes of four extraordinary women. With sharp humor and bold storytelling, the play explores art, activism, feminism, and the power of women’s voices during the Reign of Terror.
This special presentation is performed by Violet Surprise Theatre, whose mission is to vibrantly validate and amplify the voices of women.
The performance is free and sponsored by the Schaumburg Library.
We’ll begin the evening with dinner at Phat Phat before heading to the library together for the 7:00 p.m. show.
Come for the camaraderie. Stay for the revolution.
We hope to see you there!
