Vision and Voice: Honoring Native American Heritage, Confronting Injustice
An Evening at the Trickster Cultural Center
You are invited to join us for a special LWVPA All Members Meeting inspired by our biennial theme, Vision and Voice. Through this event, we aim to live out our commitment to Vision and Voice; to see more clearly the challenges faced by Native communities and to amplify voices that must be heard.
This meaningful gathering will include:

A guided tour of the Trickster Cultural Center, highlighting Native American art, culture, and history

A shared dinner featuring Native-inspired food

A compelling presentation by Gina Roxas, Director of the Center, on the crisis facing Native American women, including systemic violence, economic disparities, high rates of assault, human trafficking, and the epidemic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW)

Note: The Trickster is sponsoring a Toy Drive to light up the Holiday. Please donate a new children’s toy in its original packaging for their Toys for Tots collection.
